Spinal Decompression @ AMW

What is Spinal Decompression?

It is a non-surgical treatment for back and neck pain, most often for disc bulges, pinched nerves, and other spine-related issues. Decompression uses technology designed to give you static or cyclic traction at varied intervals, allowing the spine to be slowly and gently decompressed, taking the pressure off of the discs and nerves. The system will go through periods of traction and rest, creating a "pumping" effect that allows water, oxygen, and nutrients to flow back into the problem area to enhance the body's natural healing response.

What kinds of conditions can be helped with Spinal Decompression?

  • Chronic Back or Neck Pain
  • Disc Bulges and Herniations
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Radiculopathy
  • Sciatica

How do I know if I am a candidate for Spinal Decompression?

The first step is to set up a free consultation with one of the Doctors--just click on the "free consult" to the right! Dr. Treva will sit down with you to discuss your history and will request any past X-rays or MRIs you have had taken. We will also conduct a brief exam in your problem area before creating a treatment plan customized to your needs, including number of visits, frequency of visits, cost, and more.

Is Spinal Decompression covered by Insurance?

Unfortunately, at this time, non-surgical spinal decompression is not covered by Insurance. Some of the complementary therapies that we do before and after the decompression treatments may be covered by insurance, and we will provide you with a free insurance verification to see what is covered.

How much does Spinal Decompression cost?

Decompression treatment programs are determiend on a case-by-case basis so cost and number of visits will vary from patient to patient. Call today to set up a consultation.
